Programs

College and career services

We offer services to prepare youth for college, including career exploration, school search and exploration, resources for standardized test preparation, admissions and scholarship assistance, and educational workshops for youth and families.

The programs

NAYA scholarship fund

Our young people see continuing their education as the best path to a better future for themselves, their families, and their communities. But without support, the dream of a college education is out of reach for many.

College nights

NAYA has returned with in-person College Nights! Held every Tuesday & Thursday from 3:30 – 6:00 pm. Drop-ins welcome! Can’t attend in person? Reach out to collegecareer@nayapdx.org to schedule a one-on-one zoom meeting

Educational re-engagement program

Returning to complete high school can prove difficult for people who left for family, health, or other reasons. NAYA is pleased to offer our Educational Re-engagement Program, precisely to help people in this situation.

College visits

Throughout the year, NAYA Family Center’s College and Career Readiness program conducts several campus visits.

FAFSA filing

Are you interested in going to college in the 2023–2024 school year? Filing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is a requirement for students seeking to have financial aid.
