Through a partnership with Morrison Child and Family Services, the Hand in Hand program provides counseling services for youth and families of NAYA. The Hand in Hand program is committed to strengthening families by intervention and prevention through therapeutic treatment for children aged birth to 18 years who are experiencing emotional or behavioral problems.
Available services include outpatient individual, group, family, and play therapy; case management; assessments; therapeutic visitation; home-based services; and psychiatric evaluation (medication management).
Christina Weber, our Morrison Child and Family Services therapist, is familiar with Native American cultural issues; she has relocated from Anchorage, where she worked with Alaskan Natives.
NAYA Family Center clients who are interested in counseling and are covered under the Oregon health plan can request a referral from their case manager or a member of the NAYA Family Center staff. Christina is available by appointment at the NAYA Family Center or at Hand in Hand's location.
