Community Economic Development

Promoting prosperity for our community members, NAYA Family Center offers a robust suite of programs to support economic well-being, including Individual Development Accounts (IDAs), financial wellness classes, Basics of Business, a Native Business Accelerator program, one-on-one business coaching, and opportunities with NAYA’s marketplace and retail.

The COVID-19 pandemic and resulting economic conditions have made significant impacts on Native entrepreneurs. If your business has lost revenue due to COVID-19, we invite you to apply to our COVID-19 Business Grant program in partnership with the Oregon Native American Chamber (ONAC) and Prosper Portland.

For more COVID-19 business resources, visit ONAC’s COVID-19 Resource page.

NAYA is a proud partner of the Multnomah County Community Works Project (CWP), a consortium of six community-based organizations that deliver job search, skills building and employment barrier removal services with funding from Oregon Department of Human Services.
